Pittsburgh-based photographer and director Tom Cwenar has always had a knack for finding that moment of truth and beauty that helps any image tell a story.  But, his own personal battle with cancer further opened his eyes to the humanity and professionalism he found in the world of healthcare.  He uses his own experiences to get deeper and closer to the stories that define the challenges of the everyday heroes that make modern medicine a miracle.  Tom and his team work coast-to-coast with some of the biggest agencies in the business.  When Tom is not out on location, you’ll find him in his 12,000 sq. ft. studio in the South Side of Pittsburgh or out on the links chasing that elusive hole-in-one.
